Our BOAT Constitution and By-Laws contain opportunities for your involvement. While the BOAT depends on the leadership, energy and efforts of its current board members, achieving a greater level of success and accomplishments depends on membership participation. I encourage you to consider volunteering to serve on one of our standing committees. Your participation and service on a committee will serve two vital purposes. First, it allows you to help BOAT become more successful in its mission of enhancing the professionalism of its members, advancing the standards of the building industry, and leading in the resolution of public policy issues. Secondly it will help you learn more about our association and perhaps one day, you may even decide to run for a BOAT Board Director at Large position in an upcoming election period.
Below is a list of our standing committees. Please consider how you might bring your experience and expertise, by serving alongside current BOAT Board and other association members, as we all work together to enhance building safety for our great state of Texas.
