Full Conference

Early registration – $300 members / $325 nonmembers
Includes:

  • Wednesday:  All sessions, breakfast, lunch,  breaks, and the Texas Shoot-Out
  • Thursday:  All sessions, breakfast, lunch, breaks, and the Awards Dinner
  • Friday:  Cracker Barrel discussion and continental breakfast

Wednesday Only

Early registration – $145 members / $170 nonmembers
Includes:

Thursday Only

Early registration – $145 members / $170 nonmembers
Includes:

  • Wednesday:  Texas Shoot-Out
  • Thursday:  All sessions, breakfast, lunch, and breaks (awards dinner not included)

HOTEL ACCOMMODATIONS

Guest rooms and sessions will be at the Sheraton Austin Georgetown Hotel & Conference Center, 1101 Woodlawn Avenue, Georgetown, Texas. The hotel is close to the Round Rock Outlet Malls (7 miles), the beautiful downtown square (2 miles), and Inner Space Cavern (3 miles).  The hotel looks out on Rivery Park where there are plenty of walking and jogging trails.  Or sign out one of the hotel bikes and ride the trails.

The rate is $149 per night for single and double occupancy, plus taxes.  The rate is good three days pre- and post-conference based on availability.

The discounted guest room rate is good through July 20.  Don’t delay in reserving your room.  To book a room, you can call the reservations department at 737-444-2700 and tell them you want to book a room in the BOAT 2020 Annual Conference room block.  You can also book online.

NETWORKING OPPORTUNITIES

Texas Shoot-Out

This year, the Texas Shoot-Out will be on Wednesday and will be a barbecue at the park right in back of the hotel.  It is a popular networking event and a great opportunity to network and have fun.  This event is free to all registrants and their guests and includes dinner.  If you plan to attend, please be sure to mark it on your registration form so that we may plan for your participation.

Bingo

After the awards dinner on Thursday, we are going to play bingo!  This gives us enough room to socially distance, have fun, and win prizes.

Other Networking Opportunities

There are plenty of opportunities for you to connect with colleagues, sponsors, and exhibitors at any of the meals and breaks!

COVID-19 SAFETY MEASURES

Each attendee will receive an individual hand sanitizer in their conference bag.  We will also have large bottles of hand sanitizer around registration.  Face coverings will be governed by whatever ordinances are in effect at the time of the conference.  Even if face coverings are not mandated, we recommend you bring your own.  We will have disposable face masks available.  In addition, we will be scanning everyone temperatures.  Meeting space will be set per the Governor’s guidelines that maintain social distance.

SUBSTITUTION AND CANCELLATION POLICY

If you are registered and cannot attend, we encourage you to send a substitute. If you cannot send a substitute, a $45 cancellation fee will be assessed if written cancellation is emailed to acct@tml.org by Monday, July 29. No refunds will be honored after that date.

CONFIRMATIONS AND BADGES

Confirmations will be sent via email at least one week prior to the conference. Conference badges will be mailed to you in advance. PLEASE REMEMBER TO BRING YOUR BADGE TO THE CONFERENCE.

PARKING

Self parking in the Sheraton’s parking garage is complimentary..

CONTINUING EDUCATION CREDITS

The conference sessions have been submitted for ICC Preferred Provider CEU’s.  We will post here when official approval is received.

FLYING TO GEORGETOWN

The hotel is 35 miles from the Austin-Bergstrom International Airport using the freeways and interstate.  It is 41 miles using the toll road.
